THE GIG SURVIVORS

Earlier this week I saw Don Broco at the roundhouse, this is my second live gig where the crowd are a bit...hum...crazy. So, here are some tips on how to come out of that sweaty pit looking flawless and not like a tramp (Based on my experiences).

It's winter now and queuing for a gig isn't the most pleasant experience in the cold. So, wear just enough as when you start moshing etc.. you will get so hot and sweaty. Venues like the roundhouse have cloakrooms so check if the venue has one, it will save you having to carry lots and possibly losing some of you're most values possessions.
Secondly, if it's your first time I wouldn't suggest going straight in the mosh pit as it does get kinda hard to breath as there are a lot of bodies producing heat and if you happen to be surrounded by tall people it makes it even worse and people are crazy violent so stay safe! One solution could be getting on someones shoulders as you get to enjoy some fresh air for a while.
Thirdly, wear waterproof make up! Luckily at venues like the roundhouse they hand you cups of wonderful ice cold water but if you happen to go to the Brixton O2 they literally squirt the water in your face so drink plenty of fluids before hand (maybe sneak in a capri sun because its not a bottle eh?)
Also carry some deo, flannel or some wipes for a quick refresh after all that crazy dancing.
Finally, do what you want feel free and happy and don't allow anyone to ruin your mood as you want to leave eupeptic not filled with regret!
HAVE FUN!!

To end here is a disgusting selfie with me in the pit with the bestie!
